Welcome to Country Trails Elementary School!
Theresa Kolkebeck (pronounced “Coal-ka-beck”) was named Country Trails Elementary School Principal to start the 2023-2024 school year after spending the prior two years as an assistant principal at CT and more than two decades at Central 301. During her educational career, Kolkebeck has been a teacher at both the elementary and middle school levels. She has served as the student services director and principal at various times during her tenure at Prairie Knolls Middle School.
Kolkebeck enjoys spending time with her family, the occasional scuba dive into the sea, and on land with a good book. She and her husband, Denny, live in DeKalb where they raised two children: Katelyn and Sean.
